Terms & Conditions (General Terms of Service)

By accessing this website, booking a session, or working with Giorgia Riola, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

Giorgia Riola provides professional services including (but not limited to):

  • Web design and website rebuilds

  • Branding and visual identity

  • Website audits and strategy sessions

  • Business and website consulting

The scope, format, and deliverables of each service are described in the relevant package, proposal, or booking description.

2. Bookings & Appointments (Acuity Scheduling)

By scheduling a session via Acuity, you agree to the following:

2.1 Session Scope

Each session has a defined purpose and format, described in the booking page. Please review this information carefully before booking.

2.2 Timeliness

Please be on time for your session.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, the session may be shortened or rescheduled at Giorgia Riola’s discretion, depending on availability.

2.3 Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance using the link in your confirmation email.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable for paid sessions.

  • Free discovery calls cancelled late or missed may not be automatically rebooked.

2.4 No-Shows

If you miss your appointment without prior notice, you may be required to book a new session. Rebooking is not guaranteed for missed free calls.

3. Payments & Refunds

  • Prices are listed in CHF, unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment for paid sessions is due upon booking.

  • Project work typically requires a 50% deposit to start, with the remaining balance due as outlined in the invoice.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

  • Refunds for sessions are only available for cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth collaboration, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information

  • Share content, feedback, and approvals within agreed timelines

  • Communicate clearly about expectations, changes, or concerns

Delays caused by missing content or feedback may affect timelines and delivery.

5. Content & Information Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information provided about your business, goals, services, and existing website.

Website audits, strategy sessions, and recommendations are based on the information available at the time of the session.

6. Website & Strategy - Results Disclaimer

All guidance provided is based on professional experience, best practices, and industry standards.

No sales, revenue, conversion, or business growth outcomes are guaranteed, as results depend on multiple factors including market conditions, pricing, offer clarity, implementation, and external variables beyond my control.

Business performance depends on factors beyond website design or strategy alone, and implementation and outcomes remain the client’s responsibility.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, you own the final website and design deliverables created specifically for you.

  • Giorgia Riola retains the right to showcase completed work in her portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Templates, frameworks, and reusable assets may not be resold, redistributed, or claimed as original work.

8. Language Support

Sessions may be conducted in English, French, or Italian.
Websites may be built in Dutch, but calls are not conducted in Dutch.

9. Limitation of Liability

Giorgia Riola is not liable for:

  • Loss of income, revenue, or business opportunities

  • Data loss, security breaches, or third-party platform issues

  • Decisions made based on consulting, audit, or strategy sessions

Use of all services and materials is at your own discretion and risk.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction is Basel, Switzerland.
